「My stay here was wonderful! Check in and out was easy. The accommodations were immaculately clean and decorated in such a warm, welcoming way! The owner placed some goodies, including fresh eggs from her chickens, in the fridge for me. Having a full kitchen was also a huge plus for me! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor-take a little getaway to the Nesting Place!」

「Overall a great place to stay in Allentown. The place is well appointed and the beds were comfortable. We ended up parking on the street as parking behind the building was a bit confusing to understand precisely where to park. You do have to pay to park on the street every day except Sunday. The owner of Gems and Joe was very kind and informative regarding the area. This is so much nicer than a hotel and so much more comfortable.」

I missed noting that we were bringing our dog with us but Jeff was lovely when I messaged about this and that we'd have two vehicles. Chad welcomed us when we arrived and helped us get settled, including providing additional recommendations as we talked. The apartment is beautiful and the mattresses were very comfortable. It was easy to walk to downtown Jim Thorpe, drive to eastside restaurants, and Lehigh Gorge...

「The unit is as pictured and is very nice. I stayed here for 5 weeks and was very comfortable. The house has great amenities, which I really appreciated as I am a traveling student and am not used to a VRBO being so well-stocked. I appreciated the parking space as well. The neighborhood is okay. There is a nice park about a ten minute drive away. There was an upstairs guest as well, and the sound barely traveled, which was also a nice change.」

「Great stay. Apartment location was perfect. Very walkable. We chose to park in the 4th Street parking garage which felt safe and was an easy walk and was less costly then metered street parking. We did have some trouble finding the entrance to the building but Oscar was responsive and helpful. What I wasn't expecting was 40 steep stairs to get up to the apartment. This would have been nice to know from the listing as we were traveling with 3 small children (for the crayola experience)...
