“We had a wonderful holiday staying at Gardenvale Cottage. The lovely comfortable, spacious cottage had everything we needed for our six week stay. All the photos and descriptions on the VRBO site were very accurate and helpful for making a decision to book this accommodation.Our host was so welcoming and provided an early check in as we had just arrived from Canada. She gave us a good introduction to the cottage and answered any questions. Communication during our stay was excellent.The cottage……

“Yes, we loved the area. Many lovely cafes to choice from, museums, walks, just so peaceful and picturesque. Quaint shops to browse and purchase from. It rained our first night and light rain part of the Saturday but you could still get out and about. The rainy weather made it more enjoyable for us and our 12 yr old had and a wonderful time. Perfect for adults and children. We will definitely be back and loved Belle Cottage!”

“Cockroaches, mice, overgrown yard/weeds.Property is on the corner of a busy roundabout motorbikes every night cars honking at eachother not to mention the blinds aren't the best so everyone headlights blare in.”

“Firstly we were put in a different cottage than we booked and told by the owner thats where we'll be staying, no sorry...wasnt a great start. I had picked the Etna because it was seperate to the other two cottages and i really liked the look of the cottage. Next was the wet firewood and kindling that we paid extra for that wouldnt stay alight because it was bubbling water and then fan doesnt work on the fire place. “We were so pleased to be in Country Cottage. It’s got the feel and character we like, so lacking in most short term accommodation. It’s quiet for sleeping in and has lovely places to sit to eat or relax in the garden and the house, whilst being close to the buzz of Brunswick, good food and great shopping. A perfect blend of the best of both worlds.”
