An Honest Assessment
We've rented many properties over the years and would like to share our honest opinion on this one.
Pros - the pool was very nice, great for small children. Supposedly it was to be cleaned every week but in the 8 days we were there it was not. The kitchen and dining area were great - nice & large for many people. The home was clean although the toilet paper holder in the master bath was only half attached to the wall and the towel holder fell off immediately. The neighborhood was nice - there were two playgrounds within walking distance that we took advantage of.
Cons - The AC in the home was frustrating to say the least. There was no way to override the 72 degree setting even though we called the managers for permission. It was warm in the house, especially at night. The main level bedroom would get 75 degrees at night. We had to continually run fans in the rooms. There was not a ceiling fan in the property to help move the air. This is the first rental property that we have ever used that doesn't supply a grill. It doesn't say that there is one on the property so we inquired about it. We were offered one for $140 a week! We were told that there was no upcharge on that even though when we got in the home they offered one in the home book for $80 per week which we had also found before we got there. We inquired about getting into the home early but were offered a $40 for each 2 hour early time period. The good outweighed the bad overall hence we still gave it 4 stars.
