Booking here was a huge mistake. I’m making this review after booking, checking in, and having to leave the property. Upon arrival it smells very musty/has a cigarette smell. It looks really run down. Pool area was closed for maintenance which was one of the biggest reasons why I booked it. With being a cheaper hotel, I would expect it to be a little run down but not to this extent.
Entering the room, it smells even worse, very muggy and hot, and the room was disgusting. I took pictures and videos. There was hair on the bed, stains on the bed and curtains, smudges on the walls, a broken fridge in the corner, (really glad I didn’t bring my child like I was planning on because that would not have been safe for him!) dirt all over the floor and bed and bathroom floor. The bathroom was disgusting. After a long drive all I wanted was to take a nice hot bath and I did not even feel comfortable doing that.
The staff was very nice, the lady was helpful. She offered to get me a new room, which I was willing to do even though I really just wanted my money back and to go somewhere else. She gave me new keys to a new room, I go upstairs, the key doesn’t work. Come downstairs, explain it to her, she gives me a new key, cycle repeats a few times. She goes up to check it, can’t get any help. At this point I’m very upset so I leave and tell her I want to speak to the manager in the morning because that is too much stress to go through, and there is no manager on site. TERRIBLE.
