It was nice to be close to beach. That was the extent of the positive. The staff was awful, careless and unaccommodating. When asked about parking, the guy at front desk said I would need a room key to park in a gated area. I had the digital key with my phone app, but he said that wouldnt work for parking. Ok thats fine and I like gated parking. I called they night before and asked for late checkout, which i usually get because I am a diamond rewards member. They said i would have to pay for it because "housekeeping doesnt like it". What? Ok. I paid. Then they called the room 2 times very early after I specifically said the reason I wanted late checkout was to sleep late. When i didn't answer, they sent a really rude employee to my room and he just walked in and said "the front desk is looking for you" in a abrubt tone and then juat walked out befire i could ask any queations or even understand what was happening. When i went down stairs, he said it was because they dont have a payment card on file. Are you kidding? Wow. So i told him i didnt want the late checkout anymore as i already had my things in my car and was ready to leave at this point. He said ok, but i still owed for parking. They guy who gave me a room key fir parking the previous day didn't say anything at all about that. When I expressed my disappointment in all that had occured, the front desk guy all but laughed in my face(not figurative). Also, the shower was clogged. I had to stand in dirty water to shower
