Great Stay

Great stay at the Wild Rose Cottage! We came to town for Laura Ingalls Heritage, and were so pleased to find a VRBO that suited our family's needs. Even more, this location exceeded our expectation. We had enough space for our family, and found everything clean and in its place. We would suggest this place to any one else looking for a stay in the area.

Awesome house

Everything was great. We came in late for a guided goose hunt so we really didn’t get to long but our buddies all got to sit around, cook some pizzas, have great conversation, and I good breakfast at 530am before leaving for the field. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to hunt!

South Dakota's Finest Countryside Gem!!

The best rental property I've ever stayed at. The detail that went into the updating on this house is remarkable. You can tell when you step inside that thought went into every amenity. We were in town from Michigan for a pheasant hunting trip, 3 guys total and we could not have imagined better accommodations. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us. We will be back!

The house is very conveniently located to the shops and restaurants in town. We loved walking everywhere in just a couple minutes. The house has ample space for our family of 5. Bathroom and kitchen are remodeled but the rest of the house has historic charm. Owners were accommodating to our request for an extra night stay. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is there is a lingering old smoking smell in some parts of the house. My husband didn't notice it, but I'm super sensitive to that smell. We were there mostly to sleep so it didn't bother me that much! Thanks for the great place to stay in a small town.

Clean, homey, walking distance to everything, our host communicated well and provided everything that we needed! We toured all of the Laura Ingall’s Wilder sites and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is centrally located - so cute and comfy with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom! Would definitely recommend to others

Possibly the cleanest/tidiest rental I have ever stayed in.... and I've stayed in many.Walkable location. Plenty of space. I highly recommend staying here especially if you are in town for some Ingalls/Wilder history.
