“We are local and vacation on Lake Martin every summer, and this is one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. The house is cozy and has everything you need, the water access is perfect. We brought our kayak for our teenagers, swam, and fished (caught two blue gill). The grill and picnic area are nice. We had Canadian geese came and swam with us every day we were there. We will definitely stay here again.”

“We came to visit family who lived nearby and we all loved staying at the lake house! The house sets on a peninsula surrounded by water with tall trees providing just the right amount of shade, breeze and beautiful view of the water. Having two boat slips and a covered dock was very nice and appreciated by all the bass fisherman in our family (electric also available at the dock was a bonus). The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a great time. We did not use……

“The house was clean, stocked with everything you need but groceries! It worked great for our family of 12. We had some local family over too and had plenty of parking for 6-8 cars. Beds and bedding were very comfortable also! There are a couple things that are just a challenge for some! One full bath downstairs is hard, my 80 yr old mom slept upstairs and went to bed early so we had to wait for showers! But we never ran out of hot water, that’s a plus! My husband has vertigo and the spiral……

“We came up for a weekend to my son's lacrosse game as he is at school at Huntingdon. I found the house very well stocked and inviting. It was an easy walk to the campus and I loved the neighborhood. There was constant contact with the owner and we will be stating here again.”

“This place was one of the BEST places I have stayed. Such charm and simplicity of the little bungalow the neighborhood was off the main path with little noise from the road even though it is in the corner. Close enough to walk downtown for a meal and we felt safe doing so. I will be looking to stay here in the future if it is available. Appreciate the hospitality!”

“The home and property are beautiful. The sounds of the river and creek are so peaceful. There is a railway nearby and we enjoyed the sounds of the trains as well. We spent the majority of our time on the covered porch. The thing I enjoyed most was the fireflies. I haven’t seen any in years so it was a special treat.”

“Nice views, quiet and simply a really nice piece of lakefront property. It'll make you want to spend as much time outside as possible. The house is cute. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Unique living room setup with 2 Sofa's....one to kick back and watch TV and the other to kick back and watch the sunset or simply stare at the views. There isn't much around, but you already know that since it's easy to learn by simply looking at Google maps. However we did find a good pizza joint (Lake Martin……

“House was beautiful. High quality all the way; mattresses, kitchen appliances, furniture. Nice playroom with toys. Game room was wonderful. Only drawback was access to water; lots of steps. Hard (or impossible) for older people and small children to get down to dock.”
