"Beautifully manicured grounds on arrival. Easy parking outside our cottage. Good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Well appointed kitchenette and we had to ask for just a couple of essential items. Nice balcony surrounded by trees. "We loved our stay at Hawksbill. The food was excellent for an AI property. The king bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We had a garden view room, mini fridge stocked with drinks (2 beers, 2 OJ's, 2 cokes, 2 sprites and 2 waters) and room cleaned daily. The beaches on the property were top notch. The infinity pool was beautiful. The reef in front of beach is thriving and teaming with fish. Bring your own mask/snorkle/fins or get them free from the activities hut. There were enough chairs/palapas for everyone. Bring chair clips for your beach towels provided. Free use of kayaks and sup boards as well. Bring your own water bottles/Yeti/Stanley to use for water coolers and bar;)"

"The Buccaneer Beach Club was perfect stay. The staff friendly especially Candace at Front Desk. The grounds well kept. My room was immaculate. I would definitely stay there again. If there is a downside, which there is not. The Buccaneer does not host an eatery, but why would it. You have a kitchen to cook your own food. Microwave, hot stove, etc. Next door is the Salt Plage which has good food. Great staff too!"

Galley Bay Resort & Spa

"Overall we had a great experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. We stayed in a Gauguin Suite, which felt more like a private villa than a hotel room. Having a secluded backyard and plunge pool was a huge plus and made the stay feel very intimate and relaxing. The beach is absolutely beautiful and easily one of the resort's biggest highlights. The food was surprisingly good. Since meals are made to order rather than sitting under heat lamps at a buffet, everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The drinks were ok, although pretty much what you'd expect from an all-inclusive Caribbean resort. That said, this is not the type of resort you come to if you're looking to party. Galley Bay is all about relaxation, reconnecting with your significant other, and enjoying a slower pace of life. The evening entertainment is usually a live band playing music rather than the typical high-energy resort productions. Everything is very low-key and laid back. One thing to note is that the resort itself is fairly small. You can walk from one end to the other in about 10 minutes, which we liked but if you're looking for a massive property with endless activities, this may not be the place. My only real criticism is that some of the staff seemed a bit uninterested at times. Nobody was rude but we didn't experience the exceptionally warm service that many Caribbean resorts are known for. We didn't notice many guests tipping, so unlike other places the staff is not tip motivated."

After a day of adventure, returning here feels like discovering a secret oasis all over again. If you’re looking for an authentic escape—a place where relaxation comes naturally and the spirit of the island surrounds you—this enchanting retreat is a treasure worth finding!"

"We had an amazing stay at Villa Tramonto! The size easily accommodated our family of four, and the view from the terrace is outstanding. Amenities were well kept, the beds super comfy, and the pool was fantastic. Simonetta was a great, attentive host, always available with tips and local guidance. The villa is in a quiet area and requires a car, but that was perfect for us as we wanted to explore the island anyway. Galley Bay beach is just an 8-minute walk away. I would recommend Villa Tramonto 100% as a comfortable base for any trip to Antigua. We hope to return soon."
