“Used this place for a couple nights exploring the Redwoods National and State Parks. Was great to use a base for exploring as it had a built in bathroom compared to other options with communal bathrooms. Location was easy to find right off the highway. Shower and other utilities worked great, just were a bit small but that is nitpicking. There was a weird smell when I first got there but used an air freshener and it cleared right up. Overall happy with my experience! ”

“It was a great time but the garbage was full when we got there. The check in process was a little tricky because they’ve changed management and I was expecting to be able to go to the office to get the keys.”

“Really nice place. Check in and out was seamless. Location was really close to the Redwoods and river beach, which we utilized. The backyard fire pit was awesome. Overall great experience.”

“The bed wasn’t that loud in our opinion. The whole place did smell really strongly like dog pee which was difficult at times to handle but we will just not choose a dog friendly spot next time. We would’ve liked a bit more information on check out responsibilities like where to put towels and trash. The hot tub was over-chlorinated but still a great way to spend the evenings and the privacy fence is really great. Overall we loved the place and it’s location!”

“Cute cabin but the thermostat was inoperable when arrived, the heater in the master bedroom was inoperable and full of dryer sheets. The master bedroom smelled of urin. The management sent us a space heater for the master bedroom but we had to deal with the urin smell the entire time. Won't be back for the price we paid.”

“Our stay at Sunset Cabin was great! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend 8 nights relaxing and staring at the beautiful view…not to mention just listening to the waves crashing on the shore. The owners have done an amazing job making sure their guests feel at home in their incredibly comfortable cabin. Loved it!”

“The property is well kept could use a little deep cleaning or some upgrades in the bath. I enjoyed my stay and will be back.”
