Tough review because just about everything was excellent but one main thing: noisy room.
Well maintained hotel, beautiful looking inside and out, great friendly staff. However what bothered me was this was marketed as "soundproof rooms" this is the main reason I chose it. Once inside this isn't the case year hear people shuffling around near you, beside you and above you & you can hear the street noise somewhat. It's a tough review because I liked everything else about the hotel, but light sleepers won't like it.

Great location - easily accessible (all underground!) from Union Station and to Scotiabank Arena.
Courteous and attentive staff. We love the bar area in the lobby for a quick drink or for a nice dinner.
