We had an incredible stay at Mt. Vernon while in town for a family wedding. The house is old, rustic, and beautifully charming. We were fortunate to see several elk, one of which we named Elsie. The grounds are stunning, and the location is unbeatable! We will definitely return.

It is a perfect location for Red Rocks Ampitheater and hiking

Property was pristine. The only reason I gave the location a 4 is because of the highway noise (jack brakes) directly above the property.

We had a wonderful stay. The house had plenty of room for all 8 of us. There was a great hiking trail in walking distance. It is very close to Morrison, Golden and Red Rocks. The large yard, barbeque area and creek are so nice. Great experience for us.

Great place, great location!

We stayed 5 nights at the Mt Vernon house and absolutely enjoyed it. The house and yard have so much character. It was so nice to be isolated yet close to the things that we wanted to do. Walking distance to a trailhead where we saw deer and elk every day, and the birds were amazing. Close to Golden and Red Rocks. Highly recommend!

Girls trip to see Sarah McLaughlin at Red Rocks!

We loved the house and how close it is to Red Rocks! We enjoyed our coffee out on the front porch every morning and enjoyed the patio area in the evenings! Very peaceful and restful place!
