We absolutely loved the Lookout Lodge. The house was private, comfortable and had magnificent views. The deck was a treasure...the perfect spot for a glass of wine at sunset after a great hiking day. We liked being close enough to Boulder to enjoy multiple dinners in town, but far enough away to feel more secluded. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and our hosts at Sky Run were friendly and responsive. All in all, a stellar spot to celebrate our anniversary!

Great time in the mountains!

We stayed for three beautiful August days and nights. The views from the house are amazing, and the house is so comfortable that we didn't want to leave. There are nearby towns and hiking trails everywhere, making this a wonderful area to visit.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We loved the house and the location. The view is amazing! They had plenty of games, nice hot tub and a nice deck to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our Family

We had 6 adults and 2 kids 2 y/o and younger. We were in town for my son’s college graduation from CU and this place was perfect. The view is gorgeous and the property managers made sure we had several additional things to make our stay with the little kids so much better (highchair/playpen/hiking pack). The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals and when we had a question about WiFi they immediately responded to help us. I would definitely stay here again!!

There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The family all loved the hot tub and the game tables. The views were incredible! Linda was so helpful and kind when we contacted her with questions. We hope to come back again soon!

The house is nice and has an amazing view of the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Its probably time to replace the hot tub, deck sun umbrellas and grill. otherwise overall great stay.

Great place to see the stars

Went for a family wedding and added time to hike, explore and relax. House was extremely spacious, well equipped kitchen left us lacking for nothing. The views of the mountains and stars from the deck are spectacular. Location was about 30 min from everything wow we were able to do some sunrise hikes with no problem and didn’t have to go far to get to the wedding events that were closer to Denver. We particularly loved the nearby town of Golden.

Visit in the mountains

The house is beautiful with a stunning view out the living room window. My adult children loved the hot tub (which also has a great view). The property was clean and the kitchen had all the appliances and implements we needed to cook a few large meals. The house is up in the hills, and just out the door is a gorgeous walk. We visited Canyon Coffee and the Wondervu Cafe and enjoyed both (they are right down the hill from the house. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Stunning Views!

We cannot say enough about how incredible this property was. The house itself is something out of a magazine with crazy-good outdoor amenities (the outdoor fire pit, hot tub, ping pong table, etc.) plus everything you could need inside. The views are amazing and it’s so close to both Boulder and the neat mountain town of Nederland — Either direction you go from this house is a win. Amazing stay and amazing hosts who were super accommodating to our calls/texts. Will definitely be booking this place for our next trip to Boulder.

We stayed with another couple and loved every minute of our trip. The photos of the view don't do it justice. So many parts of the house were stocked with helpful items. When we couldn't figure out the fire table they had someone out to help us within an hour. Thanks a ton!!

Lovely house in the mountains

We enjoyed our family trip to visit with our siblings and their kids. We had four kids from 2-17 with us and two couples. The house has a beautiful view and plenty to do. It is not close to much at all, but that was fine for us because we were planning to mainly stay at the house and enjoy visiting. We did drive out to Winter park one day to tube. It was a beautiful but long drive. Golden is 30 minutes drive and we did go into town a couple times. We loved the pool table, darts,, playground, hot tub and playing in the snow. There is minimal privacy in the master bathroom, but it didn’t bother us too much. The tub is huge! Enjoyed that as well.

Stayed with a group of 8 for a weekend trip from Denver. Roads going there were a bit difficult with several inches of snow the night driving up there, handled well with an AWD SUV with snow tires. Driveway was the most difficult in terms of snow accumulation, with about 8 inches of snow. The next day the driveway was plowed, which was really nice. Views from the balcony are incredible. House is huge and fit 8 comfortably. In the morning there was a big horn sheep right outside the bedroom, incredible! The day of checkout it was incredibly windy, but the other days were nice. Would definitely stay here again. They had all the basics we needed (shampoo, coffee, etc) provided, which was nice. Pans were usable but not nice. It might benefit from a walkthrough of the utensils as some of the knives were incredibly dull and breaking at the handle, etc. Overall great trip.

Great Colorado Hideaway!

Myself and 4 friends stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. The house itself is very cool. They had gotten A LOT of snow the week prior, so the front and rear decks had 3-4 feet on them. We're not shy of a little work so had some beers and dug everything out. Was good fun and got some exercise in at the same time. They have snow-shoes to use and sleds as well. Beds were comfy, the pool table was awesome, and the hot tub was really nice. Only things to look out for: Gas timer is down and to the right on the deck if you come out the right most door. Firepit takes a little fiddling, so turn the gas knob on the backside of the pit and listen for gas to flow before lighting. The back deck grill only had 1 knob to switch between the main burners. Not a big deal at all, just have to move it to the burner you want to use. Couldnt get the searing burner going, but that very well could have been user error. Overall, great place to stay! I wouldn't hesitate to come back with the Wife and make a week of it.
