“If you are looking for a spot that has character this, is it, it was a cozy old place above a pub. We went in the off season, so we had the place to ourselves. Nice little bookshelf filled with some fun activities to pass extra time off devices too! The food in the pub was not great for the price we paid, but the breakfast was amazing! ”

“The room was lovely and clean with a massive comfy bed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Just one small gripe was that the bathroom was very cold. However the staff did come with a heater.”

“Absolutely sensational. A true hidden gem. Booked this not knowing what to expect but WOW! This place is a work of art. The owners have renovated this lovely building to an exceptional standard. The place feels fit for royalty, and you can definitely see the attention and care to detail the owners have put into this. Room was 10/10 and designed to a very high standard. From when you arrive and walk into the place, you will get an instant feel for how special this stay is. Breakfast 10/10,……

“Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet.”

“Parking wasnt great on 3 spaces for the property so had to park at the top of hill and carry luggage down. Staff and room was lovely, room smelt fresh and was clean we was right next to main foor but could not hear much noise. Check in/out was quick and straight forward. Would recommend hotel. ”

“Lovely hotel, with lovely clean, well appointed rooms. We stayed on a Saturday when the football was on next door, but other than the lobby being busier you wouldn’t have known. Lad at reception was friendly and the Hilton chocolate chip cookie was a nice touch. Only thing to consider would be perhaps providing the option for a firmer pillow, but appreciate this is entirely personal preference. ”
