「After the warm welcome, we were shown to our room and all the room facilities were explained properly. The property has so much fascinating history and the current owners have gone thru great lengths to keep it all in the best conditions. We loved the breakfast with a great choice. 「Very comfortable room. The first night a little warm but after turning the heating down better the 2nd. Very good water pressure in the shower and good toiletries (white company) Ate both nights of our stay and the food was very good. Staff where very good through out the hotel but it was a little frustrating when our dessert arrived without any cutlery and it took 5 mins before they noticed. Good location for Chatsworth and other local attractions. Would stay here again.」

「We stayed for 2 nights in a family room, our room was small for 4 people but had everything we needed. The sofa bed wasnt the best, however we asked for a 2nd duvet to put ontop of the mattress and they were bmvery obliging and helpful. The staff are very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean. The kids loved the sweets left for them. The filter coffee in the room was a really nice touch. We ate in the restaurant the 1st evening and the food was very nice and...

「Had a brilliant few days stay at the cottage, the phrase that comes to mind is home away from home. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. Location for us was perfect with the monsal trail on its doorstep, loads of walking trails nearby and not far from Buxton. Really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend, thank you」
