Buxton Crescent

8/10 Good
"The hotel is ideally located to enjoy the best of Buxton. It is beautifully decorated, with a real sense of luxury. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfy. Staff were helpful and polite. My only disappointment was the breakfast service and in all truth this was completely unacceptable. It was apparent that the kitchen and service was heavily understaffed, which impacted upon the cleanliness, insufficient stocks on the buffet service and delays serving food. Most people had a 45min delay for hot breakfast, and this resulted in us and a number of other guests requesting refunds. The serving staff were very apologetic and just looked worn out and embarrassed."

"We arrived early and our room was ready. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and professional. Lee Wood is a beautiful building, with well maintained grounds, and provided free car parking. It's a short walk into Buxton town centre which helped with our 10,000 steps per day! Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu was extensive and made to order. Overall a lovely stay."

Stay in the Heart of Buxton | Stylish 2 Bed

Stay in the Heart of Buxton | Stylish 2 Bed

10/10 Excellent
"Nice smart space above shops with an easy 10 minute walk to Buxton centre. Nice kitchenette set up with everything you could need. Unfortunate that we went during the exceptional heatwave and consequently it was uncomfortably warm in there. At night windows needed to be open and the road has a lot of heavy traffic on it from very early in the morning and late night revellers until the early hours. So that maybe worth bearing in mind if you are going when it's hot if at all a light sleeper."

10/10 Excellent
"James and Beth were great hosts, fantastic communication throughout always ready to help. The property was everything we wanted for our family get together. Buxton is a lovely town with really friendly people all were good company and ready to chat.Parking for 3 cars was a tad awkward but we managed.Dale Road is busy, lorries the empty ones start early and the front rooms are disturb by dodgy manhole covers bouncing, obviously not our hosts fault. The bedrooms and showers are great house is warm and you have heating control although front lounge was a tad cool.10/10 though and Buxton is well worth a visit"
