Perfect Destin Condo!

This Condo was a great choice for our Destin vacation. Upon arrival the front desk was very quick to give us our check in information and door/pool codes. The condo was very clean and decorated nicely. It has all of the things you need for an extended stay including in unit washer/dryer. The facility itself is beautiful with great amenities. The pool area was fantastic. We were especially glad we booked here on days that there were red flag conditions where ocean swimming was prohibited or when it was too hot! The pool area has a coffee shop, bar/restaurant and is HUGE. It is so great to have amenities on site. There is a resort shuttle that runs several times a day to the beach, boardwalks and other places. This is tip based and free. The drivers were great and offered to take us to other destinations when they were slow. Overall we had everything we needed and would recommend this unit to anyone!

I wouldn’t go back

The guest bedroom was TINY. The bed collapsed when my child sat on it. The towel rack broke just from putting a towel on it. Every Glade plug in was empty (just take them out if they aren’t being replaced). Dead batteries in the ceiling fan remote. We had a view of the Dollar Tree parking lot where a homeless person slept. The pool was closed for some cleaning for almost 2 days. The kitchen table has a huge gash in it. I wouldn’t recommend this place. We were very disappointed. This place isn’t worth the money.

Had a lot of fun at The Palms

Overall it was great. The master bed was very comfortable. The other bedroom was very small! The baths were nicely equipped with shampoo etc. However there were a few things that could be improved. We dismantled, cleaned and unstopped the ice maker in order to get ice for our drinks. There really should be a cocktail table or end table on the porch. There was major dust on the ceiling fan. These are all easily corrected though.

One night stay

Check in was easy and the unit was very clean. We loved the renovation the owners put into it! Great stay, we loved the restaurant/bar downstairs too!
