Beautiful Neighborhood

Comfortable beds, clean property, close to a lot of shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly. Property offered easy check in/check out process.

My family and enjoyed the stay will RealJoy Vacation. Though where were matter of concerns with the property, they were forwarded to the office and addressed, quickly, politely, professionally. I with keep RealJoy Vacation in mind for next year family Thanksgiving in Destin, FL .

Great stay but outdoors needs cleaning

Any issues was handled promptly. Outdoors areas need major attention. Enjoyed stayed. Would of been better if scrubs were taken care of.

Spring Break

Cute House to Book for vacation. Very clean! It looks exactly like the pictures that are posted. Nice little walk to the beach. Every night when it was shower time for everyone,there was no hot water! Everyone took cold showers which was a disappointment. We had to buy a charger for the Tv remote for the upstairs master bedroom, no batteries in the remotes downstairs living room. Other than that,we had a nice family time.

Good stay

First I’ll share the good then all share the bad. The property is in a great location and house is located in the cul de sac. The check in and check out process was very easy. The communication with renters was amazing, very responsive and reasonable. No hidden charges. Pool and tennis courts were great! The beach access is terrible. Everyone staying across the street is only allowed to use a very very small portion of the beach. There is a private beach on either side that you are not allowed to use at all. You have to go very early to set up and be anywhere close to the water. Secondly, the house wasn’t very clean. The bathrooms were clean but all the chairs/sofas and tables are stained and look like they haven’t been cleaned in a while. I made sure to communicate all damages the day we checked in and a note was made in our rental so we wouldn’t be charged for any of it.

Renter's beware make sure to video house in detail when you first arrive

The house was very nice and roomy. We were not impressed with the beach access. The new laws of beach property lines has restricted your room. the neighbors, on both sides, have orange cones out with no trespass. you literally have 40 feet wide to "frolic" on. On busy days, we couldnt even get close to the water without stepping over/on people. I hope they change this beach property line law back to where a person can walk on the beach without so much restriction. We also had a suprise of an upcharge when we arrived back home. the property management, real joy vacations, ran our card for more money due to water stains on sofas and signs of having a pet in the house. We are guilty of neither. My husband ask me to make sure that the property mgmt was talking about the correct house. We treated the home with respect. There is a ring door bell, so we ask real joy vacations to verify there were no pets brought in or out. Never heard another word of animals in home. The management group sent us stain pictures of sofas. Full disclosure, the pix do show stains. I realize this is a 'he said she said' situation. I do not expect you to take my word for gospel. I would just recommend documenting, in detail, the house like you're renting a rental car. Im not sure how you can cover yourself on pet or other allegations. i would have liked to have rated the property management group instead of the home. I hate to poo poo a persons realestate investment and livelihood.
