Great house great location

The house and location are wonderful. We loved everything about our stay. We would definitely book this same house again.A couple of minor fixes should be made at this house. AC needs to be checked out by an AC tech the ac by the master bedroom and front bedroom doesn’t really get air. The pool patio has tile which needs a rug fore safety, extremely slippery when wet. The sliding glass door behind the inside bar needs to have a stopper for when you open the door fingers don’t get stuck between doors. Plus the handle to lock the slider needs to be tightened.

Great home and location. The home was huge and very beautiful. Definitely enough space for our group. We loved how close it was to many stores and restaurants. The pool did not seem clean when we got there, but after a call that issue was fixed. Overall it was a great stay!

Great place to stay with great neighbors

Its was great! I loved the house. I will definitely be staying there again when i come back. I just hope that all the blinds are fixed so you cant see in the master bedroom from the pool area.

Anniversary family vacation

We took a short family vacation for my 29th wedding anniversary. The house was beautiful and had plenty of space for a 5 adult. The house is perfectly located in a beautiful gated community close to everything. The check in and check out process was easy . I had one little problem with the pool that was not heated although I paid for heated pool. Family getaway

I booked this house for my family. We wanted a place to have everything at the house so we’d actually just want to stay and use it like a resort. The house and neighborhood was perfect. The communication with the management was excellent. Only small issues we had was even though we paid for heat for the pool, it didn’t continually stay heated. One day was perfect. All in all we loved this place and would stay again.

Nice home

House was nice and we were happy with the space. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. There were some issues with lights not working, hot water didn’t work in the kitchen and the lack of sheets and blankets. There are 4 bikes and only 2 were working. All in all a good house with a few things that could be improved.

A few cliches

Stove broken, had to eat all meals out, got very expensive. No hot water kitchen and upstairs. No tv when we arrived at 5:30pm and still doing maintenance, check in was 4pm. We were together as a family, that's all that matters. We will find a different house next year.

Made the best of it

Overall the property was pretty. However, we had so many issues I couldn't recommend it. I had read reviews ahead of time and was prepared for some, but not all of our problems. Main issues: the heat did not work, the hot water was almost non existent, there were no blankets on the beds just thin coverlets, there were only 7 forks in the whole unit, the coffee make was broken, I had read ahead of time there were no towels for the pool, so we brought our own, I had verified the coffee pot and Keurig, so we had pods, but the drip machine was missing a major part of the lid and was non-functional. I had tried to call the local office for possible early check in and couldn't get through the entire day before, so we just showed up early knowing it hadn't been rented before us and we could get it. That worked out ok. The heat was not working and although I texted the number as I was instructed, no one reached out to us or fixed it during our stay. We were only there for 2 nights for the party but it was miserable at night as it was in February and very cold and rainy all weekend. There were no blankets on the bed so everyone froze at night. We had 9 people, and although it sleeps 12 with the pull out sofas, there were only sheets for those and we had to have 3 girls in one bed because we couldn't put any on a couch without anything besides a sheet with the temp. The hot water tank was set to high, but it took about 15 minutes of running the water for it to get lukewarm and then it would only last a short time and get cold again. Showering was horrid and washing dishes were hard. There was also only one dishtowel so it was hard to wash and dry dishes. There were only 7 forks in the whole unit if you included the one salad fork and a serving fork. There are no glasses for beverages other than basic drinking glasses. I own a rental in Pensacola Beach (too small for this size group) and I know what is standard and what is extra. This unit did not meet minimal expectations. Several reviewers talked of worn furnishings, etc. but the furnishings were nice and the pool was heated as per our request and extra payment. Overall, the house could really be amazing if the heat and hot water had worked and there was a little more effort in what was available in the kitchen. Who needs four gravy boats when you don't have enough forks!?! The bed linen situation probably works in the summer, but not for winter use. We made the best of it.

WORST experience with that property manager

I was trying to reach out the property manager since one day before to our arrival cause I have a baby of 5 months and I was needing to get in at least one hour before they ignore my message, the bbq on the house was nasty, the jacuzzi only make bubbles cause it’s extremely cold cause the heater is not working, when you tried to call the contact on the check in email it rings until goes to voice mail, they don’t have trash bags and there is no instructions for the trash so we need to leave it inside the house which is terrible, the outdoor floor is sticky, and one of the ceiling fans on patio is no working. The property manager never answered by the app or the pibe numbers they have on the welcome email

A shower didn’t have a handle or work. There was no cleaning supplies to get through a weekend of use. There was water pooling in the garage and no blankets for any of the pull out beds.

Nice house

Great house, but needs a lot of maintenance. Sliding glass door doesnt lock, outdoor ceiling fans dont work, heated pool times out. However , we would stay here again.

Looks are deceiving

Let me just say that I have stayed at many vacation homes and this has been my least favorite thus far. First impression was that it was a little outdated but clean so I let it slide. However, I ran into so many issues that should've been addressed before I came. First off the refrigerator was not working at all so we lost money with the food we bought. Then the air wasn't working in some of the rooms so it was hot mostly downstairs. I called support the same day we arrived and they did not arrive until the next evening day. They had to bring us an old but usable frig to use temporary and they could only fix one of the a/c units at that time. A simple call from the owner or Vasaca just to check on us with the issues would've made things a little comforting but it was like we were on our own. Also, this was the first time I ever stayed at a vacation home with a pool and they had NO beach towels! Also, one of the bedrooms didn't have a TV but all the others did, which didn't make sense. With the amount you are paying, your expectations vs reality is sadly misleading. I would never rent from the owner or Vasaca again. Also, For those with small kids, disabled, or senior citizens, please be aware that the stairs at this home could be dangerous. We had a few incidents because of the layout and floor material. I would definitely suggest they add carpet or padding to them.

Lovely house, but...

It is a lovely house for friends and family to spend holidays together. Unfortunately the house itself is not well maintained. Here is a list: broken outside window, pans and pots are so scratched no amount of oil will help you , toilet paper holder is broken, tiles are cracked, chair cushions are badly stained, outside fan is not working, covered pool area is a joke since many screen panels are missing allowing insects and butterflies swamp the place. The house itself was clean, but the pool area was covered with cigarette butts and other garbage. The garbage can in the garage was filled with puke or spoiled food. If you don’t pay attention to details, you’ll be happy with this house.

Lovely Home, Problematic Company

First off, the home is lovely and spacious. It was well-stocked. For anyone having trouble getting in with the provided gate code, just hit "#" before the code you're provided. The pool was smaller than expected, but more than big enough for 4 kids under the age of 10 to swim around and have fun. So, why isn't this a 5 star review, you might wonder? Well, let me preface by saying I originally posted a more positive review on Vacasa, but indicated some issues. Not only did the company not contact me, they never approved my review. That was over a week ago. Let's start from the beginning. We arrived at the unit around 11PM local time and had immediate trouble with the gate code. I attempted to call in to their customer support and was on hold for 15 minutes before security came around and was able to help us get in. My wife instantly noticed going around the house that some light bulbs were out. By the time we finally went to bed, we had also realized we only seemed to have a single Samsung remote to control the many TVs around the house. While we did eventually find a second remote, we spent most of the vacation shuffling a single remote between the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms. By Friday, Vacasa's staff had made contact with us to have us open the garage door to move the trash can back inside. We had also figured out that the ice maker and fridge both appeared to leak. It should be noted here one of our biggest issues was determined overnight on Thursday when we found a full outfit, panties included, in one of the beds. It wasn't from our party. We also found hair in the same bed and on the pullouts. Saturday evening, we arrived back at the unit from the beach to find a Vacasa van parked in our driveway and someone inside the unit. We had not been notified in any way prior to his arrival, but he was there to address maintenance items indicated by the previous guest. We later found out the dryer also didn't work well (took 3 runs to dry clothes) and realized the master bathroom toilet leaked. Vacasa entering the property unannounced changed/ruined some planning for a girl's weekend my wife had been considering back to the property and I was alarmed myself to find someone having entered with no warning, something that almost never happens in properties in these price ranges. It's likely we won't be going back, but it's more about the company and less about the property.
