House is fine however pool and area around pool needs some work. Picture of pool in listing must have been years ago. Furniture around pool definitely needs upgrading. For what house cost per week we expected better.

Great place to stay

House was awesome; spacious and clean. Proximity to the beach is a huge win. No real complaints aside from the pool needing some attention and the grill needing to be cleaned something serious before we could use it. Some of the furniture seemed to be wobbly and unstable

Great vacation house

Enjoyed the pool and hottub. Top should have been closed in because it rained on our second day. Good place for a large family. My wife complained about the excess dust everywhere but other than that we were very satisfied, mainly because we were so close to the beach.

Anniversary family vacation

We took a short family vacation for my 29th wedding anniversary. The house was beautiful and had plenty of space for a 5 adult. The house is perfectly located in a beautiful gated community close to everything. The check in and check out process was easy . I had one little problem with the pool that was not heated although I paid for heated pool. Huge place, nice pool area and view

Home is huge, lots of room to spread out, multiple dining areas, nice tableware(cups, dishes etc.) Plenty of bath towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas in garage. We paid for the pool to be heated. Heater was not on when we arrived, they came next day to fix it. We got a credit and once it was warmed up it was great!

Wedding Weekend

Where should I start? The property looked exactly like the photos on VRBO. It was immaculate! Very spacious, clean, and well-kept. The house was well-stocked from bathrooms to kitchen. Did not have a chance to experience community amenities but there's plenty to keep your party entertained. We loved our stay.....will be back to do a Girls Trip! Great job Laguna Vista!

Nice home

House was nice and we were happy with the space. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. There were some issues with lights not working, hot water didn’t work in the kitchen and the lack of sheets and blankets. There are 4 bikes and only 2 were working. All in all a good house with a few things that could be improved.

Great Location

Plenty of room in the house. Beds and furniture were great. This house needs lots of work in repairs. The heat for the pool was a plus and nice being on a lake for kids to fish. No cable in the main tv area whatsoever. None of the apps work either so not watching tv for a week was not something I would have booked if I knew. Vicasa was great to work with.

A few cliches

Stove broken, had to eat all meals out, got very expensive. No hot water kitchen and upstairs. No tv when we arrived at 5:30pm and still doing maintenance, check in was 4pm. We were together as a family, that's all that matters. We will find a different house next year.

Don’t stay here.

Pool is ok. 1 bathroom downstairs. TV upstairs has no internet so you can’t use it. Dryer didn’t dry anything. Carpet upstairs in bedroom had wired stained need end table. People spilling drinks in bed? Beach access? Have fun with the public beaches. Only 4 umbrellas deep and no parking.

Spacious home

Overall the property was nice. It was a little difficult getting the light switches to work in some parts of the house they didn't work at all. I submitted a work order via text and the vacasa team was very accommodating and came out and fixed some of the issues with the fans lights and wifi on most of the tvs. It was a very spacious home we were a little disappointed that there was not enough sheets or blankets for all the sofa beds. We were less than 10 minute golf cart ride to the beach. I would recommend this home to any one with a large group (we had 10 adults and 5 kids).

Great Location, Not so great House

I would give this house a plus for the location. However, for the amount of money you spend for this rental, it doesn't quite make the cut. There were cables hanging out of the wall, thermostats falling off the wall that doesn't work. Sliding doors that do not close properly and lock. A whole bunch of ants in the kitchen. There were multiple other things that I have provided via email. I wanted to like this house but ultimately I couldn't,

Overall not bad, few minor glitches

Overall the property itself was nice. But I had to call the management company every single day for an issue. The property provided no big trash can, we put the trash out in bags as instructed, but the trash company wouldn't pick up. I then got a citation for the trash remaining on the curb after trash company was finished. Had a few issues with the hot tub/pool not heating up and turning cloudy so they had to send a pool tech out twice. The house itself is beautiful and spacious. If they fix the above issues I would definitely stay again.

AMAZING property! I’ve used Vacasa for years!! This home is beautiful and perfect for 2 families with children! It was only 4 adults and 2 kids and we had tons of space! Please pay for the pool heating in advance. The pool is quite chilly even at 88 degrees and sunny for the entire stay. Nothing major, just some vertical blinds missing and the view to the pool from the kitchen/dining was blocked because of a storm window shutter that had to stay down. It definitely limited the natural light and the beautiful covered back yard. The covered pool/backyard was my favorite! The homes sit on a small lake and the screen kept all of the bugs out at night. Oh don’t sit on the corner chair in the dining room it’s missing a leg! We found out the hard way and landed on our bum! Made a great memory!

Nice looking until you look closely

We just returned from a 7 day stay in this home. It is looks beautiful until you get there and find the multitude of issues that the home has. The hot tub does not heat. Now there was a lot of back and forth between the Vacasa and myself about this hot tub. At one point they told me it was a kiddie pool. Long story short, the pool company confirmed that it is a hot tub that should heat but the heating mechanism is broken. We asked to get the pool heated but they told us they don’t heat after a certain date (they never told me the date) but they showed up on Saturday before we left to turn the pool heater on for the next guests. By the time we left on the next day the pool still was not heated. There is more. The dryer never worked, one of the cable boxes was not working, several lights were out, several blinds were missing slats so privacy in the master was non existent if someone was out at the pool, the patio furniture was disgusting and some pieces especially the patio furniture upstairs was broken, there were piece of brick on the patio around the pool falling apart, closet doors upstairs were off the track and the ice maker at the bar stopped working and had water everywhere. I did voice my concerns to Vacasa. The only thing they fixed while were there was the lightbulb in the closet. There were several maintenance people who came through but again, only one lightbulb was fixed. I will say that after going to the Vacasa office in Destin. They were able to compensate me for some of the distress I had dealing with this house. I hope repairs were made for families coming in after us.

Made the best of it

Overall the property was pretty. However, we had so many issues I couldn't recommend it. I had read reviews ahead of time and was prepared for some, but not all of our problems. Main issues: the heat did not work, the hot water was almost non existent, there were no blankets on the beds just thin coverlets, there were only 7 forks in the whole unit, the coffee make was broken, I had read ahead of time there were no towels for the pool, so we brought our own, I had verified the coffee pot and Keurig, so we had pods, but the drip machine was missing a major part of the lid and was non-functional. I had tried to call the local office for possible early check in and couldn't get through the entire day before, so we just showed up early knowing it hadn't been rented before us and we could get it. That worked out ok. The heat was not working and although I texted the number as I was instructed, no one reached out to us or fixed it during our stay. We were only there for 2 nights for the party but it was miserable at night as it was in February and very cold and rainy all weekend. There were no blankets on the bed so everyone froze at night. We had 9 people, and although it sleeps 12 with the pull out sofas, there were only sheets for those and we had to have 3 girls in one bed because we couldn't put any on a couch without anything besides a sheet with the temp. The hot water tank was set to high, but it took about 15 minutes of running the water for it to get lukewarm and then it would only last a short time and get cold again. Showering was horrid and washing dishes were hard. There was also only one dishtowel so it was hard to wash and dry dishes. There were only 7 forks in the whole unit if you included the one salad fork and a serving fork. There are no glasses for beverages other than basic drinking glasses. I own a rental in Pensacola Beach (too small for this size group) and I know what is standard and what is extra. This unit did not meet minimal expectations. Several reviewers talked of worn furnishings, etc. but the furnishings were nice and the pool was heated as per our request and extra payment. Overall, the house could really be amazing if the heat and hot water had worked and there was a little more effort in what was available in the kitchen. Who needs four gravy boats when you don't have enough forks!?! The bed linen situation probably works in the summer, but not for winter use. We made the best of it.

Wonderful, spacious home!

This home was perfect for our family vacation. We loved that there was plenty of space in the home, the subdivision was quiet and guest-friendly, and the location provided convenient access to the beach. Having a clean and private pool made everything even better! When we encountered a slight problem upon arrival with the trash pickup from the previous guests, someone came out to give us a personal update and handle the matter. I would advise you to bring extra blankets or throws if you have guests sleeping on the sofa or sofa beds. Ultimately, this house was a 10/10, and my family and I truly enjoyed every second of it!

Family getaway

I booked this house for my family. We wanted a place to have everything at the house so we’d actually just want to stay and use it like a resort. The house and neighborhood was perfect. The communication with the management was excellent. Only small issues we had was even though we paid for heat for the pool, it didn’t continually stay heated. One day was perfect. All in all we loved this place and would stay again.
