GREAT VIEW! AND GREAT LOCATION!

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY! THE CONDO WAS CLEAN AND KEPT UP. WE LIKED BEING ON THE 2ND FLOOR AND CORNER RIGHT BY THE STAIRS IT WAS VERY CLOSE TO ACCESS THE POOL AND THE BEACH! DIDNT HAVE TO EVER USE ELEVATORS OR GO THRU THE LOBBY TO GET AROUND. WE WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.

Beautiful room. Great location.

This room is decorated so nicely. No carpet. Nice white cabinets are clean and stocked. Furniture needs a serious steam cleaning. Stains all over sofa and bar stools. A few pest (roaches) in the master bedroom and the screen slide was not attached which was a little bit of a worry for my small children. Much nicer unit compared to some of the others on this property. Lovely Unit.

Great view for the money

Admittedly, the place seemed a little more rundown and I had hoped for but it was reasonably priced and had a wonderful view and proximity to the beach. The condo building itself is dated. The unit was sparse on toilet paper and there were no basic spices like salt and pepper etc. Not a huge deal but would’ve been nice if some of those things were carried over so you don’t have to buy everything. Needs new sheets! They seemed pretty worn out and beds were not terribly comfortable. In retrospect I wish I had spent a little more for just a slightly nicer place but for the money I feel like this would be good for a young family or people on a tighter budget who want a beachfront vacation.

Disappointing

This is the second time we have been to Destin and rented a condo. Our first experience was great. This experience left a little to be desired. First of all, I thought that like most condos you rent there was a washer and dryer in the unit. It isn’t and you have to pay to use the public washers. I also was told there would be a hair dryer but you apparently have to check one out because they “walk away.” And then they threaten that if you don’t bring it back to the front desk you’ll get charged. The place was so sandy I spent at least an hour every day sweeping and we still slept with sand in our beds. The bathroom was so small you had to stand on the toilet to close the door. And the shower was painful. If you’re looking to have a layer of skin taken off in a lukewarm shower then by all means book this place. Also it was so close to the pool we were woken up much earlier than we would have preferred, or in the case of the last night there were people on the pool deck until 3 am and kept me up. The common areas were very run down as well. In fact when I returned the hair dryer, the door to the lobby wouldn’t open anymore. I also found it frustrating that beach service wasn’t included like it was at the last condo we rented.
