Enjoyed our stay here very much ! Great layout of condo with ease to move throughout condo. Amazing views, loves having the access to balcony from the master suite. Clean and comfortable. Agree with some of the other reviews, bathrooms could use a little updating with shower areas, master bathroom shower does leak out to floor, but there are plenty of towels provided in this condo to keep water under control. Good kitchen with the basics, loved having a pantry cabinet to store some food / snacks. Overall we had a great stay

Overall I would stay again. Positives were great location to all attractions such as eating, stopping, entertainment. Front desk was nice and helpful. Neat little store inside with variety of things. Loved the beach view from our balcony. Everything was clean. Could use some updating in bathroom, the shower does very wobbly.parking was difficult due to construction. Wish there had been an extra lock or chain on the door. But overall great trip!

The location was great and the balcony w/nice furniture was a great plus for our stay. But the condition of the condo is definitely showing its wear and tear. We were at this resort 10 years ago and this condo looks like it has been used for the last 10 years. For the cost I believe it could have been a little nicer. The biggest frustration was the TV in the living room area. Would help if there was a manual on how to use it. Mainly we wanted to check the local news and weather.

Vacation

Our stay was a amazing week as always. Perfect location with awesome staff. This was our second stay with y’all and will be back. The only small negative would be that the bedroom furniture is showing it’s age. Dresser drawer slides broke in master bedroom. Otherwise it was perfect for us. Thx again for the hospitality of the staff. See ya next time.

Overall satisfied.

Appreciated the short walk from elevator to condo entrance. Comfortable seating in living room. Comfortable mattress on king bed. Gave 4 stars because sliding shower doors were off- track causing them to swing in/out of the shower, drawers in master bedroom were difficult to open/close. Would have liked a local channel listing guide for the TV.

Apartment without horrible big flies!!!

This apartment was given to us as a substitute for Sun518 (the one we had initially reserved not less than two weeks before). Sun518 was invaded by dozens of horrible big black flies (dead and alive) and we required an immediate reallocation… Though less confortable and cosy than Sun518, Sun512 offers very beautiful view over the sea!

First and likely last stay here

Overall we had a great week our first time in Destin and at Sun Destin. Given it was our first time traveling here we relied heavily upon pictures when booking. We booked last September and in December our room was moved because of the construction. Though we were aware of work being done at the facility we weren’t made aware how much work was going on. We couldn’t pull up to the door to unload luggage upon arrive, it was blocked. We also couldn’t believe the outdoor pool was closed, we should have been told about this ahead of time. The pictures of the unit we had to settle on made it appear in much better condition then it was. It was outdated, showers rusty, tile on balcony cracked, dining chairs wobbly, one of the double beds broken, and coffee table broken. Lucky we don’t spend too much time in the room. And Destin itself made up for some of my disappointment in Sun Destin.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay. It was great that the resort had a store & restaurant, which it made it very convenient. The only issues was the condo’s floor wasn’t cleaned very well & the mattresses were very uncomfortable, definitely need to get new mattresses. I don’t think 8 people would fit comfortably in the condo b/c it was tight with just the six of us. I wish the table had seating for 6 instead of 5. Another issue was that every time my kids & I were on the balcony, a neighbor either below or above was smoking/vaping marijuana. It was frustrating to have be around this with my kids present, plus the resort is suppose to be a smoke/vape free environment. I did complain to the front desk but nothing was done about it b/c we smelled it everyday.
