Not great
This is our third time in Destin and the Islander is definitely the least favorite. If you don’t mind being around shrieking kids, loud music, obnoxiously huge groups of partiers, then maybe you won’t mind. But if you want a nice quiet relaxing beach vacation, stay away from the Islander. We actually left a day early and we’ve never done that in our life!
The condo itself was okay. But not great. The bed was not real comfortable and the pillows were weirdly small and the sheets were scratchy. Will not stay here again.

Short getaway
The location was great, 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The view from the condo was amazing, you can see the beach from the living room & the balcony. The tubs could use some major cleaning though.

Destin in May Vacation
We enjoyed our stay at the islander on holiday isle! The location was great and close to the beach. The shower and beds need to be updated. But overall good experience.
