“Very unique property... large bedroom with a very comfy king bed... kitchen is well laid out and accommodating... the views are spectacular however no direct access to the shore line... but thats ok... very peaceful and tranquil... local amenities are close and friendly.... if ever we were planning another visit to Meteghan, we would definitely be staying here again”

“Lovely view from our cabin on the lake. A short drive to Yarmouth and Cap Forchu. Missed having a hot plate to cook on rather than a bbq, but would not deter us from coming again.”

“This property is unbelievable for it's location, charm, comfort, and owner. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is, hands down, the best one I have stayed at. With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. The owner has amazing communication and provided an exemplary and low-stress experience. ”

“OMG this home was such a stunner! We arrived after dark because of the ferry ride, but when we arrived, the house had subdued lighting, relaxing music and some essential oils going. We both walked in and said "Wow, Oh my god"! And it was still dark, so we couldn't see the view, but we could hear it. The master was so comfortable and there was far more amenities and supplies than we used, but it is definitely my favorite VRBO I have stayed in. Owners really, really go that extra mile and……

“We had a great time staying here. It was pure luck because our ferry got canceled, and we were happy Joshua had an open night. The cottage is adorably decorated and has a million things to look at, including old family photos, knick knacks, and even a record player. It was super windy the day we were there (the reason the ferry was canceled was big swells), so we didn’t get to use the outdoor space much, but it was nice and included an umbrella for shade. My kids felt super comfortable here with……
