"We enjoyed our 5 night stay over the new year holiday. The accommodations were as described and very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied for home cooking. The house had not been occupied for some time before our arrival and was cold, but the mini split devices in each room were effective for heating. Working with the owner and the house manager, Emma, was very convenient and clear. If we returned to the area, we would consider staying at the property again. "

"Rental of this property in the winter season has some issues but overall, it met our needs. After a very long drive, we arrived at 4 am. We were unable to check in until later in the morning. Once we checked in at the hotel next door, getting into the apartment was a challenge. You need to access through a side gate, find the elevator in the dark, maneuver around obstacles in the dark before getting to the apartment. The front access / lobby is closed this time of year and all the furniture...

"La limpieza deja mucho que desear, pero en general todo, no hay menaje del hogar y lo que hay está roto, los cuchillos,etc. No hay un simple escurridor, las sartenes viejas y grasientas al igual que toda la cocina. En el salón no hay persiana, ni un simple visillo, ni toldo, ni una simple sombrilla, la parte del patio no está cerrada y pasa toda la urbanización cuando estas comiendo o cenando, las sillas de la terraza son de bar incomodísimas, y si las da el sol queman. "Lovely hotel on the hill above Ayamonte, a very peaceful location with a beautiful view of the sunset over the river which is the border with Portugal. Clean, good service, ideal if you want to explore the area and stay in a relaxing and chilled space."

"Super property with excellent value for money. The facilities were fantastic and the pool area was particularly wonderful. The buffet has a several options and the food was delicious. Located in ideal position close to the local town and shops with a short drive to the nearest beach"

"The hotel catered very much for the Spanish, by that I mean the times of the restaurants - breakfast 8 - 11am, lunch 1.30 - 3.30pm and dinner 8 - 11. So if you are an early riser or have children ! We have lived in Spain so didn't bother us too much. Pools also didn't open until 11am which was disappointing as it was so hot. The food was repetitive but good. Location was fantastic right by local marshes that are a parc natural. Cleanliness was very good and housekeeping team were fantastic. Staff in general were friendly. Overall a great stay"
