“It Rained most of our stay but that did not dampen our enjoyment of Lake Eden and this teeny cottage.”

“Comfortable, climate control worked well. Bathroom was clean. Floor was cold, but that doesn't bother me. Within walking distance of some good eats. not recommended if you're sensitive to loud sounds as its close to the airport and lots of vehicle traffic might keep someone up all night but I'm deaf in one ear so no worries for me.”

“The property is pristine and beautiful. Everything we needed was present including directions. It was walking distance to town. We hiked a lot and of course Stowe has many places to do that. We all agreed that it was the nicest place we've rented through VRBO. My communication with the owners was excellent and prompt. When we go back, this will be the 1st property we'll look for. Thank you Weston and Amy.”

“The property manager did a good job taking care of a plumbing issue that interrupted our enjoyment of the stay. Unfortunately, a plumber had to work about 2 hours Sun. night til 10:30 PM, and called in a plumber with a bigger auger who worked the next morning to unclog the basement pipe. This was an issue that obviously had been there awhile! After he left, the tub/shower drained very slowly as well. After mentioning the plumbing work to the property manager, the company agreed to refund some……

“The place is private, peaceful, clean and well maintained. Dave, the owner, even warned us of an approaching storm and advised us on how to protect screen porch furniture upholstery from getting wet, so communication was excellent, too. ”

“We stayed here for the 2024 eclipse. It was a perfect location. Plan to bring bottled water for drinking/cooking/etc during your stay, but otherwise, there is everything you need for a relaxing weekend away!”

“The apartment was clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could want in a vrbo stay. I loved that it was dog friendly and so close to Stowe - so easy to get there by car or by the bus that stops almost right in front of the lot you park in. My one negative comment is not the VRBO’s fault but I feel it’s necessary to note and remind people searching that the location above the bar does matter. Most nights the music ended early but Saturday night the bartender FORGOT to turn the music off and……

“The cabin itself was lovely the views breathtaking just a couple of hiccups really. We had a 4 Hour drive to get to the cottage which we got to a few minutes early before check-in before four. So we left and came back at four housekeeping was still there. My husband asked how long they would be. They said about a half an hour, so we sat in our car for half an hour. Once again, the cottage is lovely but the screened in porch area. The screens many of them are completely loose blowing in the wind.……

“A nice, clean apartment that is within walking distance of just about everything in Burlington. It's a few blocks away from the lake and downtown. Lots of cool, funky places to eat and hang out. If you are not calorie or saturated fat averse, go check out Handy's Lunch, which is a block away on the corner. My only issue might be the bathroom, which is a bit small for a big guy like me. However, the place has everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Burlington!”

“The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that.”

“This is a “lived-in” rustic log cabin and was perfect for our group of fishermen. Hanging out in the great room in the evenings was ideal. Just two suggestions -the can opener is missing a gear and the back up manual can opener is bent and bends too easily to function. We also look forward to evenings at the fire pit, but the lawn was uncut 1 to 2 feet tall -a mess and made using the fire pit and waterfront impossible.”

“The property was excellent, of course...on the water, facing west, very quiet, immaculate neighborhood. Bit of an old, musty smell - like an old camp. Did not bother us but it was there. Very easy directions and instructions for use of the property. Uber was easy picking up and dropping off. Towels and linens were very clean. Thank you for a great stay.”
