“Simple mountain cabin in remote location. Space in great for a couple or two singles. Property has plenty of elbow room with several other structures spread out across a giant clearing next to a lake. We hiked, swam, kayaked, fished and relaxed and enjoyed the views. We cooked dinner on the charcoal grill, and drank our morning coffee while listening to the birds. Hosts were attentive and chatted with us a few times. ”

“This is kind of like staying in a cabin. It is rustic. Very cleanfor an old building. If you look at the pictures it is what it is along with the price. The biggest draw back for us is it reeks from smoke. Whether it's from long time smokers living there or people who live downstairs, I don't know. They don't allow smoking now but it really needs an ozone machine. I hate writing a bad review but you need to look closely at the pictures. It was a convenience for us to stay in that location which……

“A magical spot--just a little gem. Well-stocked, well-decorated, very private yet easy to get to. Many, many thoughtful touches: two different coffee makers, a drawer stocked with mini bottles of shampoo, tons of clean towels. Wonderful general store is about five minutes away. “Home is split nicely with bedrooms at one end, communal and rec rooms at other. My bed was fine, but I understand there was some discomfort with 2 other beds. There were only 5 of us, and 8 or 9 beds, so they just switched beds and all was good. Easy location to walk to town - 5 minutes to Logan's, Mountain Market and Charlie Johns. In summer I imagine it would be 10 minutes to town beach. Lots of heat dials to customize to each individual preference. Back porch was nice. Spent a bunch of time……

“The host was so welcoming! She left us chocolates, a small bottle of champagne, and a binder filled with information about the home and the town. Also, any question we sent her, she immediately got back to us. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed...an abundance of paper towels, toilet paper, blankets, towels.
