“The accommodation is a little stand alone cottage. It was a great space, very cozy and comfortable. The fixtures, fittings and decor were first class and the style gave it a lovely homely feel. Beverly and Don were the epitome of southern hospitality, we were met with a personalised greeting, Beverly then presented us with a plate of out of fresh out of the oven home made cookies which were delicious. Beverly and Don gave us a wealth of information about what to see, what to do and where to……

One surprise we enjoyed, in addition to all the things Laurel and Hometown, was the Veterans Military Museum. Small and quaint, but filled with some great historical artifacts.”

“This was a great place. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet, except for an occasional train whistle. Which we thought added to the ambiance. Nicely furnished. Kitchen looked well stocked with necessary cooking items. Although we only made coffee during our stay. There were good places to eat in the area. You can see the Scotsman’s workshop from the VRBO. Parking was free and adjacent to the unit. Highly recommend.”

“Everything was perfect in the cottage! Super cozy and conveniently located to town! We rode the Amtrak in. Had lunch at Pearl’s diner. Shopped the shops and had dinner at the Loft! The people of Laurel are so kind and accommodating! ”

“This house is adorable, clean, comfortable, nestled on a quiet street. It’s tucked in the trees, within walking distance to the Lauren Roger’s Museum, and just a couple minutes drive to historic downtown Laurel! The perfect house to wake up in, if you’re visiting this gorgeous little town! The bed was very comfortable, clean, had plenty of pillows, and extra blankets, The shower was clean, had two shower heads and ever supplied shampoo and conditioner.
