“This location is heaven! Absolutely the most peaceful, relaxing vacation we've ever had! Very secluded. The sound of the river gently lulled us to sleep each night and sweetly greeted us upon waking. And the cabin was clean and well-outfitted for two. Very comfortable. We hope to visit again!!”

“We loved our stay on Trout Lake! Check in was easy and as described. The kitchen was well-stocked and nicely set up for meal prep for our group of 7. We enjoyed the bi-level deck with a large table and chairs for 6 on both levels. The inside common area was plenty spacious for the one rainy day we needed to be indoors. “We stayed here for a perfect fall getaway. A little hard to find in the dark, so I'd recommend getting there before dark. Other than that it was in a peaceful setting, quiet out of the way place we'd definitely stay at again. ”

“ Fantastic stay! Dog friendly. Super safe. We all had a great time on the pontoon boat! Place was clean and included ALL the amenities! Neighbors were so friendly and helpful! Brett, Alice, and Chris made us feel welcome prior to the trip and all through the trip. Would recommend for sure!”

“Perfect! Very clean comfortable small home. Beautiful, serene property on a beautiful quiet point of the Racquette River. Miles of beautiful pine needle covered hiking trails along the river just steps away. Great location, pretty short drive to campuses, restaurants, convenience stores. “The place was great! Location is was excellent, great sunrises and sunsets. Yes there's a marina bar downstairs, no it wasn't a problem, it was closed up by 8:30 each night and it was never rowdy. Whitney is a great host! There are definitely somethings that need a little work, but it wasn't a problem. One of the showers was out while we were there, but the other worked fine. Yes, the layout of the one shower is a little odd, but it works fine. It was very clean, there was no issues with……

“Stayed here for my anniversary! It was very cute! Great for a couple and their dog. Loved the outdoors feeling which is want I wanted for us. Didn’t mind not being in the middle of everything as I wanted calm and nature. I will say it is well water so if you don’t like the taste of that- make sure you buy bottled water. ”
