“very cheap room with horrible bedding that seemed dirty and pillow awful”

“We had a wonderful time here. The house is cozy and the property itself is beautiful and peaceful. Our host was friendly and kind and kept open communication if we had any needs. We stayed 3 nights and in the end kind of regretted not booking for longer but this will only mean that we will book again. The nearby towns are easy to get to and very nice with nice shops. If you need food you don't have to drive far. We loved walking the property looking for frogs and newts. And if you have an……

“Nice venue and owner is very nice and lives in the house that is attached. He needs to make some adjustments. We hope this is helpful to him. Most important, he absolutely needs to dump the mattress that is on the bed. It is not supportive. It's way too soft and I woke up each morning with a very hurting back. Other things: need to get a non slip mat for the shower. Needs to leave written instructions with the wifi code. Needs to add tissue boxes. Needs to add an extension cord so that you can……

“Great spot, incredible view, beautiful little house. Key pad to door was glitchy and outside shower had no water.”

“I like the room was very clean. There is a mini fridge but wasn't mentioned in the description, so it would have been very useful to know in advance for the plans we had. Also, laundry is mentioned but be aware that isn't inside of the house. It is a Laundromat close by where you can pay with coins or use an app. Our house 8A wasn't in front of the lake as it was shown in the photos.”

“Staying in this geodesic dome was a unique experience for me. It has air conditioning and heating, but the bed was so comfortable, with plenty of plush quilts, that I was quite happy to keep the heat off during the cool nights and snuggle in. Might be cooler during day to have a screen curtain for the door. Bathroom was clean and easy to use. There's a firepit, and wood is supplied, but the propane fire pit was so much easier to use. And smokeless! Propane grill to cook and small refrigerator in……

“Nice place. My wife and I enjoyed the area and then were able to relax at the place. Very low key. Real close to Bethel Woods. Had most everything we needed. Unfortunately we couldn't use the kayaks. The green algae bloom was amazing to watch. How it changed everyday. Not the fault of the homeowners by any means. Just something that people need to be aware of with lakes in NYS. A misunderstanding between us and the owner's was successfully rectified through emails. All in all, I would consider……

“The house was charming and we loved sitting on the deck enjoying the babbling creek behind the house. Very nicely decorated! Great location just outside of Hancock and convenient for us to a wedding nearby. Sunetra was very responsive and helpful with a few of our questions.”
