“The apartment was nice. The only thing we had a problem with is the noise. There was a party downstairs underneath our apartment and it was so loud. We couldn’t even hear the TV. If you’re going for a quiet, relaxing getaway, I’m not sure this is the place. If noises don’t bother you then this is a great place with a great view. I do have to say after we got in touch with the owners they did try to get the party quieted down around 11 p.m.”

“We LOVED this property! It is extremely clean, well decorated, and stocked. The bed was especially comfortable, and both my daughter and I slept well. If you are visiting Taylor University it is close to campus. There are three units on the property, and the walls are not soundproof, but they have a sign posted to be considerate of your neighbors. We could hear the people in the unit next to us, but we all went to bed at a decent hour, so it was not a problem. I only mention it because if you……

“Our family enjoyed our stay at The 418! The house was very clean and nicely appointed. Some of our favorite features were the board games, the cute coffee bar in the large pantry, how huge the TVs were, and the eclectic local artwork. The property was centrally located to many activities and restaurants. Unfortunately, the noise from traffic was pretty loud and the green space to take our dog outside had lots of broken glass on it, but otherwise, we loved our stay. Our kids are asking if we can……

“The unit was very clean, comfortable and all the amenities were nice. There was an annoying whistle from the bathroom vent when the heat or the a/c came on but we put a towel over it and that helped. The property manager's instructions for check in were clear and we found it no problem. There were a couple of things that influenced our rating in a native way though. The first is that there is a very unpleasant smell that you encounter when you enter the unit. It seems to go away after a while,……

My overall rating was just "OK" because of what is perhaps a misunderstanding on my part for the use of the word "guest house", Guest houses, to me, are separate dwelling behind a main home but perhaps to others and when filtering by "whole house", what we stayed in was unexpected. “Nice little house and quiet neighborhood… But be careful on the front steps and stoop. They are slanted and have uneven ridges. Shoes can easily catch and you WILL trip and fall (we did). Also check in availability is late (5 PM). If you want earlier or at least 3 PM (which is the industry standard), you have to pay an extra 25 for every earlier hour that you need. Take this in consideration if you are in town for an evening event you will be rushing to. ”
