Lori communicated back in a timely manner. Neighborhood was quiet. I would stay there again when coming back to visit Detroit. Family also stated that they would stay there. House was clean and I liked the locate. It was convenient for me to see my family that was close by.

Misleading, dirty and a poor experience.

Excessive cigarette and cannabis smell all over (not listed as 420 friendly when I booked, watch out). Dirty to the core - just walk around and your feet are black. Insects everywhere including cockroaches. Shower curtains are short, water leaks so can’t use. Kitchen light flickers, so can’t use. Window blinds are broken, so people can see inside. Host never came to help, even though they were informed and said they would. Misleading images - property is old, check Zillow listings and the property (a fully detached house is valued at 62k, tell you a lot about it) - I should’ve checked it but relied on images and VRBO - who has the worst customer service. VRBO is expecting me to show evidence of smell and did absolutely nothing to intervene. It was difficult to even contact the support without making international calls. And did I say the the neighborhood isn’t safe? Too many incidents in and around with cops roaming, stopping and patrolling frequently. Left the property early. (all this for my wedding.. so you can imagine my pain)
