The only reason I wouldn’t give it top marks is because it had 2 of my pet peeves ..
Firstly no plug socket next to bed .. and secondly i hate fixed shower gel bottles when its difficult to dispense!
Other than those minor annoyances, it was a great stay. ”

“The best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion.
My room was clearly re-purposed, with the en-suite bolted on, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom fittings were quite new and of a good standard. The furnishings were old-fashioned, but I thought that gave the place its charm and……
