The location is beautiful and the view of the lake amazing, wish we would have brought fishing poles! 3 car garage and parking along with a backyard that stretches right out the water made this the perfect place for our gathering. They have also been very flexible in working with us during several stays at their property. They go above and beyond to provide extras that other VRBOs don't. They have PODS for coffee, ingredients for SMORES and hot dogs and other treats but I won't list them all and spoil all the surprises for your stay. You will be……

“This was a lovely nature getaway. The drive was easy from Houston and there was plenty for the kids to do - from games availabile inside, to exploring the pond and the nearby forest. We spotted a bald eagle, heard coyotes and saw a few fireflies at night. There is plenty of sleeping room for a group with several children.”

“My husband and I stayed here for my birthday weekend. It was absolutely perfection. Unlike many vacation rentals everything was provided, ample cleaning supplies, toilet paper, and paper towels. The location is unbeatable a very private lodge surrounded by nature. Beautiful birds visited each morning and we were even greeted by an armadillo one afternoon. The lodge itself is immaculate and well-maintained with beautiful and quaint decor. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need……
