“Peter and Jane are terrific hosts of a beautiful spot on the lake. We did all the things. We hiked Mt. Blue to the top. We peddled the boat out onto the lake. We watched the sunrise and sunset on the screened in porch. We made fires and roasted marshmallows. We had a terrifically beautiful family vacation at this perfect little cottage on the lake.”

We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again!”

“My family stayed here over labor day weekend. Very cute cabin with all the amenities of being at home. This was perfect as minimal packing is great with a 2 year old 10 year old. The kids loved the little beach and the views from the cabin were amazing. We enjoyed our stay and will likely go back again.”

The home was welcoming and clean, and the owner provided just about everything you need (towels, coffee maker, bedding, wine glasses, etc). We awoke in the morning to 9 deer outside in the field! “Overall awesome stay! The house was clean with all the amenities you could need in the kitchen, for the TV, towels, etc. Great interior vibe. Fireplace and all appliances worked well. The host made checking in very easy and shared all information needed for the property. The only surprise is that the twin bed (bunk) is shorter than average but not an issue for shorter people/kids. Checking out is easy and only required to leave the property as you found it. You can tell that the host makes an……

“Lovely view of lake, but no private access. Have to go to “public” beach or dock to paddle board or swim. NO blackout curtains in any of the rooms, so be prepared to wake up at sunrise. BBQ grill had not been cleaned in ages. Spent 45 minutes scrubbing. No outside dining table.”

“We only had a very brief stay, alas, but made the most of the opportunity as best we could. A few updates are needed with the introductory welcome materials and equipment information that will be easy but useful to correct. Glad we had a chance to pause in western Maine, with a view of close mountains and the distant Presidential Range in NH. A couple of kitchen tweaks will be helpful for our cooking happy selves, though we enjoyed the spacious kitchen with adequate equipment, beautiful place……
