Property 10/10. Staff 10/10. Ocean Views 10/10 the hospitality of GPV staff was absolutely amazing. Ran into some issues with the airlines which caused a delay with check in, not a problem GPV greeted us with a heartwarming welcome even late into the night! Rooms, spectacular! Our stay here was truly exceptional. The views of Costa Rica were absolutely breathtaking, easily one of the most beautiful settings we’ve experienced.
The staff made the experience even more memorable. Pablo, who assisted us at check-in, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the entire team was consistently warm and accommodating throughout our stay. Because it’s a smaller, private resort, you really have the chance to connect with the staff, which made everything feel personal and special.
It was genuinely hard to leave. Had we known just how amazing the experience would be, we would have extended our stay without hesitation. The food was outstanding as well, every meal exceeded expectations.
Thank you for such a wonderful and unforgettable stay.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. The property has breathtaking views of both the ocean and the mountains — truly the kind you can’t stop staring at. The restaurant had great food options and amazing cocktails, and everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming.
The staff was beyond accommodating and helped us book all of our excursions with ease. Housekeeping deserves a special shout-out… they were SO quick and efficient it felt like ninjas snuck in and made everything spotless.
Huge thank you to Pablo, Marlon, Marlon 2.0, and Leo for taking such great care of us throughout our entire stay. The villas were extremely clean, private, and quiet — perfect for a honeymoon. We couldn’t recommend this place more!

If I could give more stars, I would! I spent two weeks in Costa Rica & I chose to spend my second week at Golden Pineap & wow, this property is truly magical. I came here to rest, breathe and reconnect with myself after an intense week of deep inner work. As a business owner and a single mother of three, I live in a constant “go, go, go” lifestyle and this was the first time in a long time that I allowed myself to simply be.
Golden Pineap was the perfect place for that.
The views here are unbelievable; mountains, ocean, jungle, clouds rolling in, sunsets that look like paintings. Normally on vacation I feel like I need to explore and do a million things, but here I didn’t have to go anywhere. I could relax in my villa and feel completely content. The private pool, the outdoor bathtub, the rainfall shower, the peaceful design, everything felt intentional and soothing. It was exactly what my mind, body, and soul needed.
And the staff; what can I even say? Every single person I encountered had the kindest energy and the warmest heart. Pablo, Mario, Leo; each of them went above and beyond, but Leo truly went the extra mile in every way. I felt supported, cared for, and safe, even traveling solo. If you’re considering a massage, please book with Liliana, her hands are absolutely magical. This was the perfect place to end my CR journey. It gave me rest, clarity, and a deep sense of peace that I haven’t felt in years. And the icing on the cake? Finding out this is a woman-owned!

Staying at the Golden Pineapple villas was the highlight of our trip. Perfect location with walking distance to the waterfall. The drive there is a little steep at times, so just make sure to have a four wheel drive car to get there. The staff were all very friendly, had such great recommendations for getting around and navigating tourist areas of Costa Rica. They were helpful in me trying to practice Spanish and taught us some Spanish phrases used in Costa Rica and taught us about the Costa Rican culture. Very personable staff! Me and my husband were here on our honeymoon and it’s so hard to pick a place in Costa Rica because the options are endless- the Golden Pineapple is a true hidden gem with money very well spent. We had a private pool and bathtub which were both absolutely breathtaking. If you want a quiet, romantic get away and/or love being in nature I Highly highly recommend staying here! When we went to another part of Costa Rica we kept saying we wished we were back at the Golden Pineapple!

The villas were gorgeous, the property beautifully landscaped, and the view outstanding. The on-site restaurant was excellent and the staff wonderful. The owner, who lives on the property. Went above and beyond to help us. I just can’t say enough good things about this place.

We stayed 4 nights, 5 days at Golden Pineapple and wish we never had to leave. We felt right at home the whole time, from the minute Marlon picked us up from SJO. Marlon, Pablo, and Leo were seriously so sweet, friendly, and attentive the whole time. The property is beautiful and well maintained daily. If you choose to stay and relax the whole time you absolutely could with no complaints. They also help you accommodate any excursions or beach days if you like and will take you there for an extra cost. The food is delicious, you can choose to dine at their outdoor restaurant or room service. Everything we tried was amazing and the prices were fair. Gracias por todo! Siempre nos acordaremos de Uds con mucho cariño y nos vemos pronto!

This was the BEST property we’ve ever stayed at!! Very secluded and private. Views are amazing and the food is incredible!! Rooms are beautiful and very well furnished. So many activities to do!! The staff treated us like we were the only people there.
