"We were met by the lovely and efficient Maryelene who answered our questions and made us feel comfortable.Characterful house containing everything you need for a good holiday. The swimming pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all the family it was just a pity that there were no shops within walking distance.We were impressed by the immediate response to the air conditioning having stopped working - a man appeared within the hour on a Sunday to fix it - thank you.Great holiday, highly recommended "

"Booking from pictures online has some degree of uncertainty. We often overthink it … This jumped off the page and on arrival instantly reassured that was the right decision. Clean, comfortable accommodation, gardens and pool better than we could have hoped, easy parking and Daglan turned out to be a lucky bonus - quiet village, lovely local shops but in the heart of the region for easy access to everything. L’Annexe for decent, good value food and service a la Basil Fawlty - top blokes! Genial hosts and convivial company, HIGHly recommend. "

"Great place tucked away with all the dordogne towns quickly accessible by car. Loved the property and pool. Paul and Marilou are exceptional mangers of the property. "

"Phenomenal location at the edge of a panoramic bastide. Expensive, but very good restaurant in the hotel itself (not always open in mid October). Some good restaurants nearby, but many also not open for dinner in mid October (although open for lunch)."

"The hilltop bastide of Domme is a magnet for tourists, and in the middle of the day I guess it could feel a little busy. But to awake there in the still of a balmy summers morning, when the medieval town is quiet and empty, to wander up to the shops or cafe for breakfast, to look out over the wide Dordogne valley....it's just heaven. One day we were even blessed with the most awesome cloud inversion! Such a treat to stay there."
