「Enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay at The Hare and Hounds. Our room was The Fox, the room and furnishings were superb. The bar and restaurant are in the main building. Speen is an area just outside Newbury, with easy access to the town if required. Ample free car parking provided. Recommended as we found it to be of a very high standard.」

「A lovely country house hotel. Our room was very spacious with an outside patio where we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine. The bathroom was large with a bath and a shower. We ate in the “Tasting Room” and very much enjoyed the tasting menu. The area outside the hotel has pleasant area with tables and chairs which we enjoyed as it was a warm sunny day. The hotel is quite expensive, but we thought it worth the money. The spa was OK, small and a little tired but we enjoyed our swim in the pool....
