“The place has so much charm with its Hobbit-inspired touches, shelves of books, and cozy vibes. The hot tub with the view was a highlight, and the bathroom shower felt like a true luxury spa experience. The kitchen was really well thought out, making it easy to cook and clean up, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome wine. “Very comfortable and well-appointed home away from home in Eugene! Every detail has been thought of in this home from a pantry well-stocked with all the basics (and then some) including some wonderful fresh/specialty coffee to multi-device chargers on the nightstands! Very comfortable king beds w/nice linens, too. Backyard was terrific since the weather was on our side for Parents Weekend; we enjoyed the firepit, covered seating area when sprinkles arrived and the corn hole too! Overall: ……

“The Hummingbird House is a charming and beautifully furnished cottage in a woodsy neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for sleeping and slow mornings. We did not make use of the kitchen because Thanksgiving meals were at our cousins' home nearby. Access to the house from the parking area requires navigating several steps. The house was chilly when we arrived and it took us some time to figure out the variety of heating systems. A ceiling fan might help to push heat down from above.……

“The house is clean and comfortable. Our party consisted of two parents and twin 17-yr-olds. Everyone had their own bedroom space with two bathrooms upstairs, one 1/2 bath down stairs (plus a separate shower in the laundry which was a bit unusual (and we didn’t use)). Having a washer and dryer was nice. The amazing greenery out the back door was spectacular. The view made getting up in the morning a treat. Found a deer within 20 feet on day1.
