“You get what you pay for. The Inn was probably built in the 70s and was very unattractive. The room was cheap. The check in was underwhelming, the room smelt of dampness, mould and cheap detergent. I never took my shoes off due to the dirty carpet and brown stains on the bathroom floor. There were black hairs all over the bathroom and in one of the beds and may be others but we chose not to look. Light came through the bedroom blind. The bar was full of tvs showing football, loud music and……

Best of all we were able to park right outside the door of our room which was a godsend especially since we were travelling with our dog and don't always travel light ! “The room was very clean and comfortable. The grounds were very well maintained and there was a good atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. The stay was let down by the breakfast. The bacon was excellent, my sausage was pink in the middle so I only ate half, the mushrooms were tinned or something similar, the tomato wasn’t cooked and the potato things were frozen. The eggs were probably good but I don’t eat eggs. The cost of this very poor breakfast for the two of us was £40+. The……

Il pub è molto caratteristico e la camera era accogliente e pulita, con tutti i prodotti necessari e anche qualche coccola in più, molto apprezzata, come cioccolata e biscotti. Menzione d'onore al letto, che era comodissimo. Abbiamo dormito veramente bene! Anche la colazione ottima!!!
