"A very old house renovated to be a guest house. On the corner next to White Horse Pub and just down the hill from Dover Castle. Location is great. Narrow stairs to each room. Well-cared for property. We were treated very well. "
"The place is really nice, the hosts are very helpful.
The property has a wonderful view, but, somehow far from restaurants and for the few attractions that Dover has to offer. "
"Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays."

See the historic and legendary gateway to England that defended the country in wartime. Today the cliffs greet home-comers arriving at the busy Dover port.
We were so lucky with the weather so we did the White Cliffs walk which is a must with some stunning views.

Dover Castle, Dover Marina and White Cliffs of Dover are must see places, but the High Street or Town Centre must need more inputs to make it more attractive to tourists!

Ports are never going to be the most beautiful places, but Dover has a history and rugged charm that are well worth exploring.

We didn't have time, but you should walk to the marina and enjoy the charm and restaurants there.

We go to Dover a lot as we have friends who live there and it's really nice and they are doing a lot to regenerate the place.

Visited family in Dover for over 40years. Never disappointed as always something to do
"Very comfortable, quick check-in. Reasonable food choice. Gym but no pool. 10 mins from Dover Ferry check-in however the road got logged surprisingly quickly! Leave over an hour travel."
"Couldn't fault the staff who went above and beyond our requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent ground floor accessible room.
First class breakfast included. Evening happy hour was appreciated and enjoyed.
Hotel itself is attractive and welcoming."
