AC worked great. Conveniently located for hoping on a cruise ship-short drive to cruise port. Desk staff were helpful Room was clean but housekeeping didn’t replenish soap or shampoo and left us only one towel despite reservation for two.

Very friendly and helpful young man on reception… advised on parking and provided cups for a cup of tea when asked. He also showed us to our room and demonstrated how to use the air conditioning.

Nothing special. Was clean and close to cruise port. They didn’t have our reservation that was booked a year in advance but Expedia took care of that quickly. I would stay again only for convenience to get to the Port.

Perfectly fine for an overnight or short stay. No amenities on site, simply a room. Room very comfortable with large smart TV, nice spacious and powerful shower, fridge and excellent air-con to keep room cool during heatwave. Window overlooked the river outside. Bathroom toiletries weren't labelled up. Bedside light had a loose, dodgy wire. Staff friendly and welcoming. Good location within walking distance of town centre, beaches, castle and train station. Paid less than £50 for night so good value for money.

This place should not be open for business. The elevator didn’t work. There were handicapped people who had to basically crawl up the stairs. Our room wasn’t clean the air conditioning worked well but it leaked and the condensation was pouring out onto the carpet which was literally so wet it saturated our luggage. The manager was apologizing for the situation but couldn’t offer a room change since they were booked according to him. We paid for two nights and left after the first night to another hotel. Please avoid this place if all possible.

Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays.
