"We had such a lovely stay! The room was very clean and tidy, the bed was so comfortable and it was lovely and quiet over night. Staff were so friendly and helpful, we stayed in a double room which was £81 and I can honestly say for that price it was lovely. There was even a Jazz, Blues and Rat Pack gig on in the pub onsite, which where we got a couple of drinks and it was reasonably priced. We didn’t eat in the spectacular train themed restaurant as we ventured into Bath city centre, but it looked wonderful! Thank you so much for your hospitality, we would definitely return."

"We had an idyllic 5 night stay in this beautiful cottage, very peaceful, surrounded by fields, there was a deer and her fawn in a nearby field every day and a pheasant wandering around the cottage most mornings. The cottage has all the amenities you need to feel like it’s a home away from home. Although it’s rural, there are lots of places to visit nearby."

"Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended"

"We had a wonderful time at Moorlands. The house was stunning, with plenty of room for our family group. The downstairs bedroom/ensuite was perfect for my elderly Mum. The two upstairs bathrooms with walk-in showers were great for the rest of us.The open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge was airy and very comfortable. The electric fire was warm and a great feature.Everything you can think of is provided: washing up/dishwasher items, hand soaps, shower gels, towels, tea towels, plenty of toilet rolls, even feminine hygiene products. There has clearly been plenty of love and care put into this gorgeous home.The garden is amazing with 4 separate seating areas, including a very cute wooden cabin. The help-yourself vegetable garden was an added treat; the best tomatoes we've tasted!!There are two pubs within walking distance. We ate at the Somerset Wagon, my daughter is coeliac and there were plenty of gluten free options.The village is small so a car is recommended, although buses did travel through.We would be very happy to return to Moorlands!!"

"We used the house for a belated Xmas family gathering. There were 11 of us. The house was very clean and very big. It had games, a pool table a hot tub and a barbecue. That entertained us so much we almost couldn't be bothered to go out sight seeing. In summer you would be able to sit out in the garden but this was January and rather rainy.The only glitch was the first two cars to arrive couldn't find the house. We used satnavs and Google maps. The main road was very busy. Once we had worked out it was between two Chinese restaurants and had black and white posts outside it we were fine.The teenagers were delighted to have a room with a double bed all to themselves. The kitchen, two living rooms and the barbeque hut were big enough to hold our whole family comfortably."

"Pet friendly, lovely area to stay. Little difficult finding the property to start with numbers are a bit all over the place. Beautiful inside and out, lovely kind welcome pack on arrival. Would 100% stay again. Short drive to the petrol station and local co-op. Would definitely recommend this property. We had the best Christmas! "
