“Perfect choice for a few days stay in Juneau. We could walk to our destinations including the tour bus pick ups. Breakfast held us until dinner. Several close restaurants. Comfortable to hang out in afternoon after wet hikes or walks. Staying in a restored historic home adds a bit to the Alaska experience. ”

“We stayed here because it was directly across the street from our cruise embarkation. Easy to walk anywhere in town. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. We stayed one night on either end of our cruise. The first night there was a problem with the boiler, so the shower was luke warm at best. Second night it was rather warm in the room and there is no AC. Sleeping with the window open made it bearable. ”

“This is a historic hotel, a group of rooms located in a National Historic Register building. One of the best loved bars of Juneau is downstairs. The room was cozy and comfortable, and shared bath facilities were clean. I made Alaskan friends when I visited the bar. A great, authentic feeling Alaska experience. Don't expect a modern hotel experience - you'll find that in other parts of town.”

“It's an old hotel but was nice and had a charm about it. The mattresses were unfortunately soft, but otherwise, it was fine.”
