“Original farmhouse with the old charm and updated amenities, dishwasher, aircon, etc. The house is comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and functional. The aircon almost keeps up on the hot days (June/July) downstairs, less so upstairs. The climate cools off enough at night to open windows (screened) for sleeping. It's usually 10 degrees cooler at the house than down in town on hot days. There's wildlife in the yard, and it's quiet at night so you can hear the night critters. The hosts are……

“I booked Austin’s property back in October for the week after Christmas. We attempted to add an additional day to our reservation, and tried for 2 months to get in contact with Austin. A week before our stay he sent an invoice for the additional day he never confirmed. Then he cancelled our entire reservation the day before, without any notice, claiming the house was flooded. “Mother’s Day weekend stay for a family of 3 + 2 dogs. We were very pleased with the location, the cabin and the owners. The cabin is exactly as described in listing. Small, cozy and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very thoughtful execution at every nook and cranny by the owners. This location is beautiful and serene with lots of exploring to do. We enjoyed the river directly on property, swimming pond and park within walking distance up the street, quick drive to……
