“Original farmhouse with the old charm and updated amenities, dishwasher, aircon, etc. The house is comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and functional. The aircon almost keeps up on the hot days (June/July) downstairs, less so upstairs. The climate cools off enough at night to open windows (screened) for sleeping. It's usually 10 degrees cooler at the house than down in town on hot days. There's wildlife in the yard, and it's quiet at night so you can hear the night critters. The hosts are……

“I booked Austin’s property back in October for the week after Christmas. We attempted to add an additional day to our reservation, and tried for 2 months to get in contact with Austin. A week before our stay he sent an invoice for the additional day he never confirmed. Then he cancelled our entire reservation the day before, without any notice, claiming the house was flooded. “This is a wonderfully cozy cabin, perfect for the two of us. We met the gracious owner and her son on arrival, and they showed us the easy trail to the riverfront, where there are two chairs for relaxing. Inside we were greeted by a personal note and a bottle of sparkling cider, which was a nice touch that made us feel very welcome. The cabin was very clean and well appointed.
