High-end vacation!
The apartment met basic standards but was not worth the price. Upon arrival, the stovetop and kitchen utensils were dirty, and we had to clean them immediately. While we appreciated the croissants and coffee, we were not informed that everything is closed on Sundays, forcing us to rely on expensive restaurants.
The living room was fine, but the TV only had 10 Croatian channels. Cooking was difficult due to the ineffective range hood, and the windows faced a wall, trapping odors inside.
Additionally, the walls were very thin, making it hard to sleep without earplugs. Reaching the apartment required climbing two steep flights of stairs daily, which was exhausting even for young people like us.
However the bathroom was the worst: no working outlets, a barely functional water heater providing only 5 minutes of hot water, and leaks that spread water throughout. The bathroom door was old and often got stuck.
