"good location view etc, they have kayaks and bikes to use. Nice location easily drive to Petoskey, next to crooked river with turtles, frogs, birds etc. For price the room was a bit dated. Also the free breakfast was not great. I realize it is "continental" but choices for pastries etc pretty low end."

"This is a great place to get away from it all without being totally isolated. It comes stocked with basically everything you'd need short of food. They even included a way to use their kayaks, even if you don't have cargo strips on your roof. They included pet beds as well! It really seems like they did their best to think of everything and it's much appreciated! I would highly recommend this property!"

"Pat was very attentive to messages and we loved staying in her rental. With 2 adults & 2 elementary aged children, there was more than enough room. Having 2 full bathrooms was awesome. The home is simple but Very cozy, comfortable beds, plenty of household necessities. We enjoyed having our meals in the cute breakfast nook. We thoroughly enjoyed paddle boating down to the swimming hole and fishing as well. Lots of different birds, squirrels, and geese(we came up from Florida to visit our son & family so I was pretty excited about all the different wild life) which was awesome to see as we had our coffee on the back porch every morning and also enjoyed beautiful sunsets. Freddie’s grocery & gas & dollar store are right down the road which was very convenient. There is also a fantastic coffee shop and sports bar/restaurant in town as well. Our son took us to a state park about 40 min from here that had some beautiful waterfalls. We also visited some Amish stores which are about 30 min away and also took the kids go carting and putput golfing. Then found a restaurant near by with a beautiful lake view where we enjoyed lunch on the back deck. Absolutely love the slow pace here in Atlanta and everyone is so friendly. Thank you again Pat for your hospitality."

"Roy was awesome. The room was clean. Everything was old and obviously used. The building needed some love. The room with the pool seemed nice. We didn't bring suits so we just walked through. All in all it was good for the price. Thank you Roy for being such a help."
