“Absolutely beautiful place ”

“We stayed 6 Nights and found a cottage with very modern furniture, all you Need in the kitchen, own BBQ Grill Outside including Picnic Area. Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. Galloway Forest Park is nearby with walks……

“Helensdale is a fantastic place to stay. The views from the living room are incredible, I always take binoculars with me wherever I go as I enjoy bird watching (there are some binoculars in the property) and looking out on the bay was fantastic. I saw an array of birds and even managed to see 2 seals and a porpoise. Also on a clear day you can see the coastline of Northern Ireland. The property is very comfortable and clean and is quite deceptive space wise. Big kitchen with sun room and big……

“A very comfortable and warm house,we all enjoyed ourselves,4 adults and the dogs!Joan and her husband were very friendly,we were welcomed by Joan on our arrival.It was hsrd to.leave as we were settled and comfortable. “Wir sind jedes Jahr in mindestens drei verschiedenen Ferienunterkünften und dieses Haus ist eines der besten bisher. Es ist absolut ruhig hier, man ist völlig allein und doch kann man innerhalb eines 30-Minuten-Radius wochenlang jeden Tag etwas Anderes machen, erst recht wenn man diesen Radius auf 60 Minuten erweitert.Das Haus ist sehr sauber, großzügig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man nur brauchen könnte. “Lovely clean caravan on a quiet very well kept site. Lots to see and do around the area, we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Lounge area spacious and double bed very comfy. Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children.”

“We had a wonderful weekend at Cedar Lodge Portpatrick, beautiful lodge, so welcoming, a real home from home. Gorgeous decor and the most comfortable beds, fluffy towels in the en suite bathrooms, luxury soap, it was like a top class hotel. Well stocked kitchen, spotlessly clean. Perfect location as the boys were golfing, weather was disappointing but it didn’t spoil our enjoyment.
