The Staff Make or Break a Vacation
Sharee, Megan and Dwight are what we will always remember about Jamaica. They were all fabulous. I wanted to make sure that each meal was Jamaican, and Sharee prepared oxtail, curried goat, red snapper, lobster, but also cassava, patties, bammy, curried chickpeas, and porridge. Megan kept the house clean while mostly staying out of sight. Dwight picked coconuts for us to sample the water and meat.
The house does need some attention to its plumbing and electrical circuits. The first bathroom's ton the right as you enter) does not have any water at the shower. The electrical circuits stability is poor (this may be indictive of the Jamaican grid) and we burned a couple of phone chargers. Suggest warning to plug chargers into surge protectors that you have on all of your electrical devices (wifi, cable box, TV). Quadrille has a lot of windows, but seems deary with dim lights. Suggest upgrading to LEDs since electricity is so expensive.
