Quiet weekend getaway - In the middle of Lake Erie Wine Country

If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway this is the place. The lodge is located in the middle of the Chautauqua Lake Erie Wine Trail with 12 wineries within 10 miles of the cottage. It is furnished with antiques with a nautical theme and located 1/2 mile from the Westfield thruway exit adjacent to small woods and a path that leads to Chautauqua Creek. The beach is a 5 minute walk straight down Main Street. The property is 1 square acre with ample parking just steps from the front door.

Luke's was a great place to stay in a wondeful area of the USA. We had a 60th Anniversary Party just down the road and this was a perfect retreat when the crowd got to be too much. The hike down to Chatauqua Creek was a nice touch, as was the ability to easily walk to the beach for early morning solitude. All was clean and perfect - and we used the fire pit, too. A

Place had all the amenities and close to the lake. Not sure when the last time anyone stayed there because it was full of spiders. Thank goodness a vacuum was available to clean them up.

The property is beautiful. At the end of the street was the beach with the lake. Our dog enjoyed having the freedom of running on the property and on the beach. The only shortcoming is that the internet was pretty much non-existent

Our recent stay at Luke's Lodge was wonderful from check-in to check-out. Location convenient,quiet and truly all that was described in previous reviews. Time to visit nearby attraction ie Locksport, Niagra Falls, the local beach was short walk away. Would gladly recommend this to anyone looking for enjoyable stay in "wine country". Hope to return soon.

Spent 3 days…pictures were better than actual site. No soap, leftover shampoo and felt pieced together…nothing outstanding except the sunset by the lake down the road every evening. That was magnificent.

This was our 3rd stay...always enjoyable! We appreciate the affordable comfort of Luke's Lodge...great little place for a couple's getaway. The property is beautiful...we love the secluded feel but so close to the Barcelona hub and the beach. Thanks for another great stay!

Cozy, clean, and centrally located to Erie, PA, Niagara Falls, NY and Lake Erie Shoreline. Kyle the host was very accommodating and a nice person. The area in very quaint, people are kind and the Lake Erie beaches are very close for sunning, swimming, kayaking, fishing, and boating. The lodge was very well supplied and the layout is very nice. We plan to return.

The property is a short walk away from Lake Erie and has all of the things that we needed. Kitchen, pull-out couch, good bathroom. It was very comfortable. The location is also very good and was very easy to find. Kyle was quick to respond to my questions and was very easy to work with. We booked this for the eclipse very far out in advance (16 months) and there was never any issue. I recommend this property and Kyle whole-heartedly. My only comment for improvement would be the grill could be updated and the catch pan replaced. I would book with Kyle again.

This was a perfect place to relax and enjoy some downtime with our dogs. Very beautiful downtown area just a few minutes away. Plus having the lake and the creek just a few minutes walk was perfect! Definitely will come back in the future!!

It is just a short walk to a beautiful little beach on Lake Erie. There's also a creek out back that is just a short walk away. There are some cute shops and cafes in town, which is less than a 4-minute drive, but there are also some restaurants within walking distance. Overall, it was great to just relax by the water in a quiet place.

We walked to the beach (like .3 mi) every day along with breakfast at the local diner. The location was peaceful and quiet, with the exception of one night we could've swore we heard coyotes howling. Couldn't confirm it...just sounded like them. The bed was so comfortable. I slept great each night. The only recommendation I have is an outside light. There may have been one and we couldn't find the switch. Since we had the dog, we definitely went out with him after dark and a cell phone only provides so much light. One other thing, especially for fellow pet owners...this property allows pets and those of us that travel with our pals appreciate it so much. So, if you bring your pet, clean up after it. A previous visitor did not (or maybe it was the coyote ;o)

This is a beautiful spot! We came to the area on a fishing trip and it was very nice. Love the decor and we were able to cook meals as kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoyed a day at the beach by the marina which is a quick drive for a sandy area. The only downside-the accommodations should be listed for 2 people...the hideaway couch is not suitable for an adult. Otherwise, we liked it a lot!

Nice place in quiet neighorhood. Bet should not be listed under private residence as there are long term tenents in upstairs. So really not private. Fire pit is between house and road would be nicer in back yard. Bet over all good for long weekend getaway.

The cabin was great. Just a short walk to lake Erie. The dogs loved the peaceful area. Lovely neighborhood. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a relaxing time.
