“We had a small family reunion at Lazarus Point. The families came from north and south and met here. There was plenty of room for all of us. Awesome bedrooms and bathrooms. There was plenty of necessities to use in the home , which was very helpful since the stores are quite a distance away. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, crabbing, boating, use of the hot tub, bird watching and relaxing all around the greats decks, dock and yard. Thank you for helping us enjoy a fun family vacation!”

“This was a great place for our family to gather. We have been visiting family in the area for almost 20 years and our own family has out grown the guest rooms at the in-laws sending us in search for a bigger place to stay. We have stayed in several rentals in the past 5 years and this is the first one that we really want to return to. The view of the sunsets from the sunroom are breathtaking. “We were sold on the rental because of its size, location, and pet friendliness. The hosts provided an immaculate, spacious, and attractive rental, complete with bedding and towels. The kitchen had all the necessities, including lots of flatware, mugs, glasses, plates, pots and pans. Dishwasher, coffee maker and Keurig were also provided. Full clothes washer and dryer made it possible for us to do our laundry and pack it clean for home. Home is nestled overlooking the river. Expansive windows……

“The cute cottage is exceptionally clean, decorated beautifully and located right on the water. The views from the house and back yard were so pretty. The fire pit is set up so you can enjoy the best views. Highly recommend. We had a wonderful weekend away from the hustle and bustle of Northern VA.”

“The house was amazing, really well equipped. Great secluded location and still close to restaurants. The pool was a great temperature and big! Our son (7) loved the box of pool toys. The house is a great size could easily accommodate a large family with everyone having their own space, at the same time we were just a family of 4 and we didn’t feel like we were rattling around, the lounge was nice and cozy. “We have rented many vacation homes and this charming cottage was the most pleasant surprise. Heather and Adam have created a beautifully designed and comfortable space to have a relaxing getaway. We spent 5 days with family at Rosehill. Two were in their 90's with some mobility issues. There was an entrance they could use that had no stairs---wonderful! And also a main floor walk-in shower---perfect! We all enjoyed sitting in the warm sun in the Adirondack chairs by the water, it was……

“We came for Mother’s Day weekend to relax and fish. I can say it was a success. There is not much around to do if you are looking for entertainment. The house is set up well for you to relax and fish from the private pier. There are two private beaches with in walking distance. The house was well furnished. We ate at Angelos which was good and is about 15 minutes from the house. We drove to Kimmie Ann Bait and Tackle to get all the bait and table we needed which is anbout 40 minutes Everyone is……

“We really enjoyed our long weekend at this property. The house is very spacious and the views are spectacular. The beds and linens are comfortable and immaculate. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes, pans, etc. The owners have provided equipment for so many activities from fishing and kayaking to enjoying the fire pit in the comfortable and sturdy outside furniture.
